How much does window cleaning cost in Ocala?

A typical three-bedroom Ocala home runs $220–$400 inside and out. Here is where that number comes from and what moves it at your address.

The short answer

A typical three-bedroom Ocala home pays $220–$400 for a full inside-and-outside window cleaning. Small one-story homes run $150–$260, and large or two-story homes run $400–$750. Storefronts and offices are priced per visit, commonly $60–$150.

Window cleaning is priced on time, and time comes from window count, height and condition, not square footage. The ranges below are what the work goes for around Marion County, so you can judge a quote before anyone comes out.

These prices are estimates

Every figure here is a researched market range for Ocala and Marion County. It is not an offer. Your price comes from a written quote based on your actual window count, and it does not change afterward. Prices last updated October 2026.

By house size

HomeWindowsInside & outExterior only
Small 1-story10–15$150–$260$95–$170
Typical 3-bed16–24$220–$400$140–$260
Large or 2-story25–35$400–$750$250–$480
Storefront / officeper visit$60–$150$45–$100

Exterior-only visits run roughly 60–65% of the inside-and-out figure. They are a good option between full cleans, especially after pollen season. Most companies, us included, have a minimum visit of about $150 inside and out, which is why the smallest homes start there.

By the piece

If you would rather build the number up yourself:

ItemTypical rateNotes
Standard window, ground floor$10–$18Inside and out
Standard window, upper floor$15–$26Inside and out, ladder work
Screen$3–$6Removed, washed, refitted
Track & sill detail$2–$5Per window
Hard water treatment$10–$30Per window, by severity

A window here means one opening, both sashes, inside and out. A sliding door counts as one. A French door or a window with grids costs more than a plain one because it has far more edges to clean. Ten windows at $10–$18 comes to $100–$180, which is why the visit minimum sets the floor for small homes.

What moves the price

Height

Ground-floor glass is pole work. Anything above it needs a ladder set, moved and leveled for each opening, and that is the single biggest multiplier on a residential quote.

Condition

Glass cleaned every six months is quick. Glass that has not been touched in five years, or that sits in a sprinkler's path, needs mineral treatment before it will come clean; see hard water below.

Grids and French panes

A French door with fifteen small panes has far more edges than one picture window of the same area, and edges are where the time goes.

Screens, tracks and sills

Screens come out, get washed and go back. Tracks get vacuumed and wiped. Both are quick per window and add up across a house.

Access

Locked gates, dense planting under the windows, pool cages and furniture against the glass all add time. None of it is a problem; it just belongs in the quote rather than in a surprise.

Hard water stains are quoted separately

Sprinkler and well-water spotting is mineral, not dirt, and it does not come off with soap. It needs a dedicated treatment and polish, charged per pane because the work varies so much. Light spotting usually polishes out completely. Glass that has been etched for years will improve but may not come back fully, and we will tell you which one you have before charging for it.

Pricing questions

How much does window cleaning cost in Ocala?

A typical three-bedroom Ocala home pays $220 to $400 for a standard inside-and-out clean. A small one-story home with 10 to 15 windows is usually $150 to $260, and a large or two-story home with 25 to 35 windows runs $400 to $750. Storefronts are priced per visit, commonly $60 to $150.

Is it priced per window or per job?

We quote the whole job, but the number is built from a per-window rate: roughly $10 to $18 per window on the ground floor and $15 to $26 upstairs, inside and out. Quoting the whole job means you see one figure and there is nothing to add up afterward.

Why does inside-and-out cost more than exterior-only?

Exterior-only runs about 60 to 65 percent of the full price, so adding the inside costs roughly half again. Interior work means moving furniture, drop cloths, shoe covers and working around you, and it takes longer per window than working outside with a pole.

Do screens cost extra?

Usually yes, about $3 to $6 per screen, because each one has to come out, be washed, dried and put back. On a whole-house clean we often fold a few in at no charge; ask when you book.

What makes a quote go up?

Height above one story, windows that have not been cleaned in years, heavy hard-water spotting, French panes and grids (far more edges per square foot), screens, and anything that needs a ladder set rather than a pole.

Do you charge for the quote?

No. Quotes are free and written, and the price you approve is the price you pay.
